LADIES! 8 Ball Double Elimination Women’s Tournament! $50 per team, doors open at 9, auction at 9:40, 10am start. 42 teams max, pre-registration required. This will be an APA (All Potions Allowed) style Tournament with a tiny twist or two. Max 12 rank per team.
Lag for the break, Alternate breaks after (twist #1). Rack for your opponent, mark/call the 8 only. Scratch the cue or wrong pocket on the 8, or an early 8 loses the rack. APA RULES RACE HANDICAPPING FOR 8 BALL ARE IN EFFECT. 8 on the break wins the rack jump cues are allowed for QUALIFIED players (twist #2) Timeouts: SL 3 and under players get 2 timeouts per rack, 5 max per match when on the table, 90 second time limit. SL 4 and up Get 1 timeout per rack, max 2 per match, but can get the coaching from ANY AVAILABLE player in the field of equal rank or higher (twist #3). Miscues/bad breaks allow 1 re-rack, 2nd consecutive bad break by a player racks for your opponent, and your partner shoots next. True scotch. If the player pockets an 8 their teemmate breaks the next rack.
